Ace Trucks AF1 Hollow Skateboard Trucks
Ace AF1 skateboard trucks are better than ever with the AF1 Hollow truck! Everything you love about the AF1, but with a hollow axle and kingpin. This results in an 8.6% weight reduction over the standard AF1 truck.
Years of development in their proprietary cast process has resulted in a 70% increase in the structural integrity of the aluminum of the AF1. This makes it the strongest cast truck on the market for the ultimate performance, all without deviating from Ace's original geometry. The AF1 trucks have machined-face hanger ends for precise bearing contact, and refined bushing/washer for a cleaner turn.
Each Ace AF1 skateboard truck is manufactured using high-quality AA 356.2 alloy for strength and durability that lasts. The baseplate and hangers use a true T6 heat-treated process, while the axles feature SAE 4140 steel alloy that's oversized to eliminate bearing wobble. Patent pending rethreading axle nuts are included to ensure no more damaged axle ends! Hand-poured 96a urethane pivot bushings provide better response while turning. Finally, the top bushings included are 12mm tall with 91a hardness, while the bottom bushing is 14mm tall with an 86a hardness.
